What is the Burren Ecotourism Network?

The Burren Ecotourism Network is a coalition of tourism enterprises operating across the Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark. Its mission is to establish the Burren as a leading internationally recognised sustainable destination by preserving its environment while supporting economic and social wellbeing for local communities.

All members of the Burren Ecotourism Network agree to abide by a shared Sustainable Tourism Code of Practice, committing to environmentally responsible operations and meaningful engagement with local heritage and people. As part of this collective effort, our hotel follows the Geopark’s Sustainable Tourism Code of Practice, focusing on careful resource use, local sourcing and the preservation of local culture and biodiversity.
