The Spa’s therapeutic mineral waters of sulphur, iron and magnesium have been dispensed since the 18^th century and the strong smelling sulphur water is served hot and cold in the pump. The Lisdoonvarna Spa Wells & Pump House are open for the summer months for visitors to come, explore, take a guided tour and sample the spa water.

The Burren Discovery Trail

Lisdoonvarna is located on the newly developed 95km Burren Discovery Trail in conjunction with Failte Ireland which guides visitors through the spectacular Burren Highlands in Co. Europe’s biggest singles festival takes place every September in Lisdoonvarna on the fabulous Wild Atlantic Way and attracts people from all over the world looking for love, fun and a bit of ‘craic’. Music and dancing in every bar from 11am till late.
